Please describe the Weak Signal (approx. 150 words)
People are combining their social networks with TV to comment on live events (such as Oscars, Olympics etc). Further research is ongoing into combining the active experience of social networks with the passive experience of TV viewing. Where does this stop? As society demands a more 'hands on approach in visual entertainment until we have voting on trials, reality tv crime, voting for life? So what about the quest for more interaction?

Comments on selection:
Media is the root and pervasive nature stops questioning of validity. Commercial interest obscure the facts as TV is influced by advertising revenue and companies want to sell technological products and services. Peer pressure.
