Advances in computerised translation and automated speech recognition completely eliminate language barriers, leading to a true global village, much better access to knowledge (in all languages) as well as increased international migration and the end of English language dominance. What will make this Wild Card interesting? It would invert established assumptions; It would unfold unforeseeable impacts
