An intelligent road-on-vehicle is technically possible and might lead to a safety enhancing infrastructure. If implementet, it would lead to a safety enhancing infrastructure. A permanent road-to-car communication warns cars of red lights beforehand, offers an in-car countdown to green lights, gets traffic flowing and alerts drivers of stationary vehicles.
