3D multimedia revolution didn't come

Description

(approx. 150 words)
Please describe the Wild Card (approx. 150 words)
Film or cinema had been the driving force for the entertainment industry, setting the standards of quality, providing the most compelling experience, and feeding the distribution chains of other media (broadcast TV, cable and satellite channels, DVD, video, games et cetera). The creation of a complete `3-D capable' chain was expected to follow a similar path. But the technologies displaying sounds and images in three-dimensions didn't astonish the public. Enterainment idustry is therefore looking for a new technological hit.
