New viruses similar to the Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS), the Swine influenza virus (SIV) and other animal diseases continue to kill people in Europe. However, due to poor infrastructure and insufficient responses, together with inefficient government response, increase the death rate several thousands in Europe alone.
