Features of life if the wild card manifests

Feature 5: politics and global affairs
There is the possibility that such sterilisation could occur without the knowledge of the individual being sterilised. Such a tool in the wrong hands could prove devestating - potential for ethnic cleansing on a huge scale.
Feature 6: health and quality of life
With nano-sterilisation, pregnancy rate would be greatly reduced and problems with over-population would be reduced. This would have to be carefully controlled so that those who were sterilised were so with their permission.
